Safe Domestic Production

We do not produce Oribako outside of Japan because we enforce very strict and precise traditional manufacturing and delivery processes. However, we are happy to discuss stock availability for specific delivery dates, the quality of our products, and commercial distribution. We strongly believe in safe and secure products. The wood used to produce Oribako is not bleached, and we use only pure, high-quality wood, the same as that used to produce violins and pianos. Domestic artisans perform careful handiwork to produce Oribako, such as sorting raw materials and processing.

Mass Production System

Up to 16,000 top-class mass production systems run in Japan every day. Thanks to our production capacity, we can handle a wide variety of custom order requests with flexibility. We can also handle value-added packages for special occasions, such as gifts orders and promotional advertising sales items, due to our ability to produce Oribako in small lots.

Excellent Print Precision

We handle orders appropriately by confirming them with human eyes and with machines from domestic manufacturers in Japan. We carefully select the ink in accordance with the wood to improve print precision.

Technology to Last a Century

Our artisans with traditional, century-old skills produces the boxes, which are made from thin wood individually and by hand. We process the boxes carefully, make changes, and then produce them, carefully considering their individual differences and their curves, as these considerations cannot be made by a machine. While performing this careful work, we can balance high quality with a strict adherence to the delivery date because of our strong technical craftsmanship and our ability to make instant judgments, both of which have been cultivated through years of experience.

Flexible Delivery Date

We can usually arrange delivery within approximately two weeks for new items and within approximately one week for repeat orders. In the case of order dispatch requests, please contact us directly.

Temperature and Humidity Management During Safekeeping

Oribako is a very delicate product. The wood shavings used to make the boxes have a moisture content of about 15%. Because Oribako is a very sensitive product made using pure wood, a specialist is in charge of the company warehouse. The temperature and humidity are both managed to ensure the quality of the products is preserved.
